Job Description

The duties include typical activities for managing a research lab:

• To supervise the achievement of KPIs and financial status of the CARTIN project
• To monitor achievement of deliverables and milestones, 
• To consolidates reports from Co-PIs and prepare the quarterly reports to Grantor 
• To supervise the day to day operation of the lab
• To provide technical support to undergraduate students, postgraduate students and researchers in their research projects
• To provide technical support to Principal Investigators in their research works
• To maintain lab equipment and tools
• To maintain lab inventory
• To oversee lab safety and hygiene
• To follow-up on the lab’s safety management system
• To handle lab procedure and vendor engagement
• To follow-up on lab administration assigned by the Lab Director / Lab Manager
• To assist on ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned by the Lab Director / Lab Manager.
   

Qualifications

• Diploma holder in mechanical/mechatronics/robotics engineering or equivalent. Degree holders are welcome to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to learn new skills
• Knowledge of laboratory safety management will be an advantage
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office tools.
