About Our Client
Our client is A large international Insurance company. A well respected player boasting a strong track record historically, they are seeking an IFRS 17 Manager to join their IFRS development group.
Job Description
- Review IFRS 17 implementation, development and any other accounting system enhancement
- Incharged for Prepare account set up in IFRS 17 Sub Ledger, General Ledger and its reconciliation
- Assess operational gaps between solution design and local accounting processes
- Managing financial reports on timely and accurate manner and in accordance with Corporate (Head Quarter) requirements
- Engage with technical workstream to understand additional information required from source systems to implement the standard, come up with Business Service Request for source system enhancements
The Successful Applicant
- Have a strong understand in IFRS 17: the implementation, auditing and system implications
- Have the ability to influence Key stake holders and deliver presentations to decision makers throughout the business
- Be able to analyse complex problems and propose solutions in a time sensitive manner
- Be able to critically challenge the technical requirements and think outside the box for solutions
- Ability to manage a process and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa – speaking and writing.
