About the Logistics and Distributions Manager (Retail) Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Logistics and Distributions Manager (Retail) plays a key role in the operation team’s continued development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to customers efficiently and cost-effectively
• Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimise stock levels, minimise carrying costs, and ensure product availability
• Design and execute an effective distribution strategy to streamline the movement of products from manufacturing facilities to distribution centres and customers
• Plan and manage transportation operations, including coordinating with carriers, negotiating freight rates, and ensuring timely delivery of goods
• Supervise warehouse activities, ensuring proper storage, handling, and organisation of goods to maintain inventory accuracy and meet safety standards
• Continuously identify areas for process optimisation and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times
• Lead and develop a team of logistics and distribution professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and third-party logistics partners to establish strong relationships and monitor their performance
• Monitor logistics expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality
• Utilise data analytics to track key performance indicators, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions to improve logistics and distribution processes.

To succeed in this Logistics and Distributions Manager (Retail) role, you will need the ability to articulate strategy to operational teams you will take the lead in the logistic and distribution-related tasks.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related major with minimum of five years’ experience in logistics and distribution, preferably in the manufacturing or consumer goods industry. Previous leadership experience is highly desirable and having experience in managing high number of branches with more than 1000 SKUs
• In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices, transportation modes, warehousing, and distribution strategies
• Proficiency in using logistics software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing logistics team
• Demonstrated ability to identify challenges, propose effective solutions, and implement process improvements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers effectively
• A data-driven approach to decision-making and the ability to analyse complex logistics data to drive improvements.s.
