Experience

• Worked as an Inspector in a similar role and/or for Fabricator/Manufacturer in a craft/ supervisory position or above for 5 years plus.
• Experience of working in a similar role for a wind farm project
• Mechanical and Electrical fit out experience from either a client Inspection and or Fabricator background, within the Offshore Industry knowledge of UK regulated HV, MV, LV and mechanical Systems including but not limited to;
• Transformers , Reactors, Auxiliary Transformers, GIS, IGBT Valves, CT/VT, EDG, MV Switchgear, Switchboards, Cabling, Glanding Control and Protection, LVAC,LVDC, ICCP, CMS, Lighting/Power, Busbars, Busducts, Circuit Breakers, Fire and Alarm Systems, SCADA, LCCBs, Circuit Breaker, IVT, Feeder Panels, Communication Systems, Lighting and Electrical Systems.
• HVAC, Piping, Fuel Systems, Grey Water, Davit Cranes, Pedestal Cranes, Hoists, Pumps, Filters, Safety Equipment,
• Good understanding of Manufacturers/ Fabricators and their manufacturing/installation/testing techniques.
• Able to demonstrate a good understanding of quality requirements and risks in onshore and offshore environment and the associated standards.
• Experienced in dealing with contractors/sub-contractors.
• Fluent written & verbal English/Other languages as required by region.
• Able to demonstrate an understanding of Inspection and Test Plans, referenced working and testing protocols.
• IT literate in Microsoft, word, excel, power point and outlook.
• Understanding of Manufacturing and Fabrication standards ISO, EN, BS and other industry norms.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Certifications

• Time served apprenticeship within an Offshore Mechanical & Electrical field or an industry with transferable skill. With a minimum of ONC/City, Guilds/NVQ level 3 qualifications or equivalent, in Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical Engineering
• Installation, Commissioning and Fault Diagnosis
• Mechanical & Electrical Installation Engineering
• Installing and Commissioning Electrical System
• Health and Safety qualifications as required;
• IOSH Managing Safely /IOSH Foundation Course in Risk Management.
• Safety Passport or equivalent.
• First Aid at work, Manual Handling and Fire Awareness
• Indonesian driving licence.
