JOB VACANCY DESCRIPTION

  • Position: Marketing & Professional Affairs Executive (Flexi work hours | Up to $5,500 | Alexandra)
  • Location: Alexandra (2 bus stops from Labrador Park MRT/Pasir Panjang MRT or 8 bus stops from Harbourfront Stn/VivoCity)
  • Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays | Flexi working hours 7:30am to 4:30pm OR 8am to 5pm OR 9am to 6pm
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,500 + Performance Bonus (minimum 1 month) + Transport allowance + Hand phone allowance + Annual Leave + Annual Corporate Health screening + Medical & Dental benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an annual marketing plan to lead growth through gaining of new wearers, reducing dropout rate and extending wearer’s lifecycle with the customers
  • Support Sales team in developing their initiatives, campaigns, aligned to local market strategy and evaluating marketing spend priorities using return on investment indicators
  • Understand customers’ needs and business goals together with the Sales team
  • Assist the Sales team together with product specific trainings (field work) on a regular basis
  • On board new leads and re-assign to respective the Sales team personnel
  • Propose account based specific solutions to increase brand share of each customer
  • Close collaboration with the Sales team to drive national customer-centric programs
  • Carry out key communications for customers, such as product descriptions, brochures, manage websites, develop social media content, email communications, press release, in store visuals etc.
  • Collaborate closely with the global team to develop content database, by leveraging on existing content and exploring opportunities for adaptations
  • Rollout new product launches, customized marketing support, communications and implementation plans whenever there is new product release
  • Implement and roll out CRM software for customer management
  • Maintain and archive SG artwork files, issuance of trial lens support program
  • Execute trade shows, events and related optical exhibitions and ensure the successful completion together with external vendors
  • Establish a strong connection with Singapore Polytechnic Optometry Centre and Ngee Ann Polytechnic School of Optometry; related optical associations; work on product presentations and creation of brand awareness.
  • Establish and maintain strong connection with KOLs in the trade, explore opportunities for possible scientific presentations with KOLs.
  • Represent the company in trade shows, events and exhibitions locally and overseas when required. Troubleshoot cases from ophthalmologists in the region when necessary.
  • Conduct product presentation and trainings to customers in the area of specialty lenses as well as new product launches. Product specific training for new staff as and when required.18. Proper handover of tasks upon change of position
  • Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Minimum Diploma in Optometry preferred.
  • Marketing background in Optical industry is an added advantage
  • Proficient in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, SEO/SEM Google Analytics.
