Project Management Accountant – SAGlobal

Agiloft is looking for a Senior Database Developer that thrives working with large enterprises in multiple industries, with unique business challenges requiring sophisticated solution design.

Position Overview

You will focus on improving performance and the platform integration of our database environment. This includes building software to run the service at scale and software around databases, like monitoring and alerting tools, and evaluating new technologies for use with the Agiloft platform.

You should have no less than three years of professional experience in building enterprise-grade applications. We expect you to be passionate about building software and perform well working in a geographically distributed and diverse team.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve our database implementations and database integration with the Agiloft software platform
• Develop an understanding of our business applications architecture, and provide architectural guidance to improve database and systems operations and integrations
• Research emerging trends for databases in enterprise- and SaaS software, make recommendations for improvements to the existing database architecture and develop prototypes.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and other DevOps engineers to ensure we provide high-quality and performant infrastructure for our apps and ensure our product is scalable to support clients of any database size

Required Qualifications

• Expert in RDBMS, especially MSSQL, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with document-oriented databases
• Working knowledge of vector databases
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Skilled with database clusters, replication, and high availability, tuning, and scalability
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions for databases
• Fluent in Java
• Preferred: experience with J2EE, Tomcat, JBoss
