This role is responsible for acting as the product expert in the MA; Working with the sales team to build campaigns, opportunity funnels, priorities and solutions. This position works closely with the tier 2 technical sales support to deploy new product information, best practices, sales trainings and technology specific value argumentation and will be located at one of the Metso Outotec offices in Australia.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for supporting and/or leading sales for Beneficiation & Dewatering in the Asia Pacific geographical region

Ensure that Account managers have adequate training and support to sell their products

Collects customer and competitor information as per BL/PG requirements

Provide market area level PG level business forecast together with the sales team

Support in Product Group level sales funnel generation, ensures quotation process data for specific case is appropriate.

Ensure effective value co-creation with the Customer.

Responsible for the value argumentation, value proposition and win plan of the cases and overall for the technology

Ensures timely progress of the sales case from lead to proposal and negotiations.

Ensures profitability of the sales cases and the business segment

Understands the market, competition and the industry best practices for Beneficiation & Dewatering and ensures that the sales case is built accordingly

Ensures compliance with sales process, proposal and risk management procedures.

Support the warranty process, inspection report reviews, recommendations, and solution definitions.

Escalate issues, as required, to the Business Area Technical Sales Support Team.

Ensure proper fulfillment of all QEHS rules and regulations of Metso Outotec and the Customers.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Relevant university degree, technical trade qualification or advance diploma with 10+ years in relevant field. Any period less requires proven high performance track record.

Proven Business and industry understanding.

Experience in implementing strategies and business direction to grow business.

Must have current motor vehicle license and passport.
