It is an international supplier of process technology, products, engineered systems and technical services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, gas processing and energy industries and is a leader in the research and development of petroleum and petrochemical processing. Our broad objectives center on the continual development and improvement of petroleum refining, petrochemical, gas production, energy and chemical production technology. We are seeking a Country Manager for Indonesia, one of the key countries in UOP Asia Pacific’s business, that spans from Australia to Japan. The successful candidate will lead act as the senior leader and representative for UOP in Indonesia.

Responsibilities include

Customer:

  • Ensuring Customer satisfaction of UOP Customers, act as the Key Account Manager for Pertamina
  • Delivering and securing a strong pipeline of opportunities and projects in Indonesia
  • Assisting our customers through developing business opportunities through leveraging UOP’s technology and products
  • Mentor and develop strong customer-focused sales and strategic positioning capabilities in Indonesia
  • Providing local market insights to the regional and global business leadership
  • Working with customers to shape their requirements and our offerings to deliver optimum value, rather than purely lowest price
  • Assuming Executive Sponsorship of Indonesian customers key accounts
  • Act as the industry focal point for UOP at conferences etc as well as help to drive UOP’s sustainability offering into the market

Business:

  • Deliver Orders and Revenue Growth for the UOP business in Indonesia
  • Maintaining close working relationship with all Honeywell operating units in Indonesia and with the UOP business regionally and globally

People:

  • Managing the local UOP team and driving ongoing improvement in the Sales and Services
  • Operating outside business or geographical “silos” and working with peers to support Global or National accounts
  • Ensuring effective performance management processes and future management capabilities

Compliance:

  • Comply and ensure entire organization complies with Honeywell Inc. Business Code of Conduct policies
  • Evaluate risk associated with business opportunities and contractual obligations

Position Scope

  • Responsible for being the senior leader for UOP in Indonesia and driving growth with key customers through shaping their requirements and our offerings to maximise returns.
  • Responsible for $50-75 Million sales

  • Ability to influence and leverage UOP strengths to meet our customer needs
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective executive relationships across the upstream, downstream refining and petrochemical industry in Indonesia relationships (external / internal)
  • Strategic planning capabilities, understand how to assess market opportunities and position UOP’s offerings
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to develop a robust knowledge of the UOP offerings and identify opportunities through customer relationships to deploy new technologies in the upstream or downstream sector

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in business and/or technology, MBA/ Advanced Business Degree preferred
  • Strong relationship development skills in working closely with customers to shape their future plans
  • Thorough knowledge of consultative and value-based selling
  • Upstream and Downstream technical knowledge an advantage
