About our Client:

An esteemed telecommunications giant in Indonesia is pioneering an exciting fintech project, reflecting their strategic vision to innovate and reshape financial technology within the Indonesian market. They are currently looking for a seasoned data scientist to join their team.

The product designer will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our apps and other interactive media. Working closely with the product owner, engineers, and strategic partner counterparts, they gather user requirements to design innovative ideas and storyboards that enhance user experience and drive digital growth. They will also test interfaces with users, prepare interface elements for developers and control the development quality in terms of UI. Additionally, also fine-tuning and syncing design processes and ensuring homogeneity of all product interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with strategic partner counterparts
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
• Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Review and approve designs, prototypes, and other deliverables
• Continually keep the design team updated with the latest changes /trends in Fintech industry standards

Key Requirements:

• Proven UI experience with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Has created wireframes, storyboards, user-flows, process flows, sitemaps
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while meeting challenging deadlines
• Ability to apply Agile principles to design work
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Strong communication skills with an ability to articulate and visualize design decisions
• Open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
