JOB VACANCY DESCRIPTION

As the lead for corporate communications, you play an integral role in Public Relation, Branding and Publicity efforts. You would be someone responsible for formulating and executing the internal and public communication strategies, handle media relations, events management and implement communication platforms/collaterals to engage the public, patient and key stakeholders through existing corporate and online channels. You are the brand custodian and you are always looking at how to fly the Ren Ci flag high.

A little about you and what we seek to accomplish together:

• Identify and develop compelling story angles for brand visibility across all touch points and communication channels.
• Garner positive media coverage and external publicity through the development and execution of communications plans to generate excitement and awareness for Ren Ci Hospital.
• Monitor and/or summarize media coverage and/or reports for both print and broadcast media on organisation news and industry-related news.
• Develop, write, and produce various marketing communication deliverables such as eDMs, advertorials, brochures, letters, proposals, and articles for influencing public perception.
• Improve website traffic by producing new content and enhancing the user navigation experience.
• Ensure website information is up-to-date and engaging.
• Assist in developing video content through conceptualisation, storyboarding, and coordinating filming.
• Support department initiatives with content creation (media/articles).
• Draft corporate correspondence or speeches for spokespersons or other family groups etc.
• Support in issues and crisis management communication, as well as stakeholder communications.

What you might need to have:

• Recognised degree in Journalism and Communication or related disciplines.
• Preferably with at least 5 years relevant working experience in Corporate Communications or Marketing Communications and have experience managing a team.
• Good command of written and spoken language.
• Process strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with different stakeholders including team members, other departments, media, community leader.
• Understanding of multi-channel media landscape and news cycle.
• Preferably a digital native and avid user of social media.
• Strong writing, speaking and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented with ability to document requirements and processes.
• Personable, willing to learn, be in the thick of action, and work collaboratively with wide variety of individuals.
• Some experiences with mass email tools (such as MailChimp), HTML, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with FinalCut Pro, I Movie or I Photo a plus.
• Able to work well under tight deadlines where needed.
