P.T. Redpath Indonesia has an opening for Mechanized Raise (Alimak) Miners to join their dynamic team at our project in Indonesia. Expatriate position (Canadian, Australian, American, South African).
Closing: 30 September 2022
Location: Indonesia
Rotation: 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off.
- Due to current Covid-19 travel restrictions, the current rotation has been amended to 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off, subject to further change.
Shift Length: 11 hours
Compensation: Redpath offers a comprehensive wage and benefit package
Travel: Flights provided from point of hire to job site
Conditions of Employment: Successful completion of pre-employment medical and substance abuse test

Job Description
The primary role of the
Alimak Miner is to maintain and construct underground installations, performing various tasks such as erecting work platforms, scaling loose rock, drilling, loading and blasting rock and ensuring that the drilling patterns follow the mining plans in a safe manner.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate Alimak Raise Climber
- Construct and maintain underground installations as face advances
- Perform tasks such as erecting work platforms, scaling loose rock, drilling, installing sets, loading and blasting rock and ensuring that the drilling patterns follow the mining plans
- Read and interpret mine plans
- Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his duties in a safe and efficient manner
- The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Mechanized Raise Experience
- Experience in construction mining considered an asset
